WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

The cornerstone of Clairlea-Westview's success and longevity can be summed up in one word - "volunteers". The club has been blessed with the generosity of many church members, parents, friends,and former players who have volunteered their time and effort in so many areas. Unfortunately the number of volunteers has not kept up with the number of players.

The club desperately needs coaches and assistant coaches. Our target is to have a minimum of two volunteers per team. There's no doubt that soccer experience is a definite asset for our house league coaches, but by pairing experienced coaches with new volunteers, we can make the soccer experience much better for our players - and develop some new coaches for the club along the way! Please don't leave it for others - too many of them are leaving it for you.

Coaching in our House League Soccer Program

U4 – U6 – One night per week

U7 – U17 – Two nights per week

Assistant Coach in our House League Soccer Program

U4 – U6 – One night per week

U7 – U17 – Two nights per week

Convening an age group/division in our House League Soccer Program

U4 – U6 – One night per week

U7 – U17 – Two nights per week

Team Manager Communicate messages to the team regarding the soccer season (i.e., upcoming events; game cancelled due to rain etc.).

Setting up nets, corner flags, and pylons

Linesman/Lineswoman

Support our referees by raising the flag when the ball goes out of play.

Important Information

If you are a student and wish to obtain community hours, Clairlea-Westview Soccer Club provides letters for students indicating their volunteer role within the club along with the total amount of hours they have volunteered. TOGETHER WE CAN SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY YOUTH IN SOCCER!
